As usual we had made appointments in due time with the owners of the domaines where we had made reservations for millesime 2009. This is the 3rd time we experienced "La Magie des Millésimes en 9".

However, in July we learned that 2011 was encore un millésime précoce, and we had to address the domaines once again to confirm that we could pick up the wine, although the harvest had started. All confirmed the pick up of reservations, but tastings were uncertain, just as addressing newly selected domaines for tasting and buying was very problematic.

As customers since many years, we managed to have complete tastings with Domaine Sylvie Esmonin, Gevrey Chambertin, Domaine Michel Gay et fils, Chorey-les-Beaune, and Domaine Gérard Thomas et fills, Saint-Aubin, just as we managed to taste and buy wine from Domaine Olivier Jouan, Arcenant and Domaine Christophe Vaudoisey, Volnay.
